Biostatistics is a backbone of any health research. It provides insights from research data which can further be used for scientific advancement and betterment of society. This workshop is an attempt to provide a platform to researchers, academicians and industry professionals to enrich their analytical skills using statistical techniques in health research . The workshop will cover important statistical concepts alongwith analysis of biomedical data.

OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING Workshop:

Objective: The Workshop will explain the fundamental concepts of Biostatistics and Survival Analysis  in health. Course  materials include video lectures reading/resource materials, example accompaniments, workbooks,  lecture handouts. The methodology of the course will comprise of: Online lecture, participatory discussion, Demonstrations Problem solving.

Workshop features

Gain a comprehensive understanding of biostatistical principles and study design.

Perform hands-on data analysis and visualization using SPSS software.

Apply correlation, regression, and diagnostic techniques in research.  Explore survival analysis through Kaplan–Meier estimation and Cox regression models.

Interpret and communicate statistical findings effectively.
